A bit about alexis.

As a biracial Black and transracial adoptee growing up in predominately White spaces of the Pacific Northwest, the adversity of an intersectional existence led me to where I am today, turning pain into purpose and passion. I came into this profession because I saw a deficit of therapists who shared my identity, life experience, and wholistic perspective on mental health. I thought, how profound it would feel to speak to someone who can understand me without me saying a word... and here we are!

I have always felt passionate about wholistic wellness, transparently rooted in my own challenges with mental health and wellness over the years. I began to accrue a wide variety of knowledge to more intentionally support and aid my own healing and in turn, do the same for others.

For my personal methods of maintenance, I find solace in nature. I am deeply grateful to have grown up in the lush forest and watery region of Washington state. I have an infinite love and appreciation for how innately healing and etherial the natural world is to the human psyche. I often ground barefoot on the grass or at the beach to soothe my central nervous system. I enjoy all things creative and imaginary; self expression through styling, arts and crafts, writing, collaging, old poetry reading, and alternative movement for emotional release. I am mindful of what I consume, as I’ve learned the hard way how vital it is to support one’s body from the inside out. I frequent saunas, and prioritize my vitamin sea and sunshine above all else.

All this being said, my most favorite thing of all is sparking connections with other soft souls, the absolute peak of the human experience. I can’t wait to connect with you! <3
